I saw them when they came to WI a couple years ago and I loved it.

Hopefully I can see them this time around.

I went when they came on the ADKOT tour, I'll be going again. We had tickets 8 rows from the stage, Im going to try for front row on this one

I'm a EVH homer,

A Wednesday stop near me  ...but whatev's. I'm going. Eff work on Thursday!

Have there been seats down to the stage or an open pit in front on the last tour?

Cool ...sort of...I listened to those two tracks (runnin and Panama), did they release this to show how awful Dave is singing wise? Sounds like they didn't fix anything. I'm sorry, I'm a huge VH fan but that guy just sucks at this point...used to be able to cover it by being a great showman but even that is just a lame shtick these days.. oh and he's now sporting a bald head? Oh yeah, I'll be standing in line for that...not.
Sorry, huge fan but its over for them. Honestly I'd rather see them with Hagar and MA...or not at all. At least Hagar can still sing. It sounds like the band practices and does their vocals etc to be tight and then Dave just comes in last minute to do his (terrible) thing over the top. Ive seen clips of sound checks and that's exactly what it was, the 3 VH's running thru the songs with no Dave...

I was hoping they would have come out with a new studio album, with Dave singing in his normal, lower register. A live album of a recent show is pretty much what you will get on the tour.

I'll stick with the live album and skip the same exact thing on tour.

they should bring back Hagar, at least he can sing ok.

This^ and Michael A. I'm a big V.H. fan and have been going to their shows since 1982
but the last time I saw them (a few years back) they....
do I dare say it?......... sucked ass!

While seeing them one last time would be cool.... I'm sure tickets will be $100 again. Which is more than I'm willing to pay to see DRL sound like shit.

They should 86 Roth's sorry, washed up old ass, and find some killer Roth clone from a VH tribute band.

Looking forward to it! They had cancelled last time they were up my way.

I love VH I. The rest... "Van Hagar" era included. I'd rather hear new material with a new vocalist.

I saw VH open for the Stones back in '80... Great show, but I never had any interest in attending a repeat performance by VH. The picture on the back of Diver Down was from that show. Sammy Hagar from Montrose up to 1983 is where it's at for me. "All Night Long" is a must-have for any respectable collection.

Cant wait to hear Eddie play the Friedman Brown eye in a EVH amp shell case.

Sorry couldnt resist.
Saw em on the Monster of Rock tour.
Then saw Dave on the Eat Em and Smile tour.
I am all set. ;)

DLR's "Eat 'Em And Smile" concert was the best guitar clinic I ever attended. :)
