VH4 Channel 1 Feedback & Volume Problem

Hello everybody,

I got a problem with my VH4.
Since a few weeks Channel 1 (set for clean tones) starts to feedback easier than before.
It´s no high frequency feedback ... it´s the bass that starts to "swell", if you know
what I mean. (-> the bass is set to 10 o clock!)

Tonight we played an 1 hour gig and after half an hour Channel 1 was way louder than
all the other channels.

I know that the overall tone increases after some playing time, so I "run & mute" my VH4
half an hour before every show.

So ... this volume problem really drives me nuts.
Any thoughts, suggestions?
