VH4 Channel 4 noise.

There's a lot of noise on this channel when compared to, say, Channel 3 with similar settings. It's just plain old high-gain hiss, but it's pretty loud in comparison to CH3 and other amps.

Mine is a 2007 model, good tube life left on her, clean, no other issues.

Anyone else?

Heres what Id do, but Im sure Peter will see this and give you proper instrustions

Clean the v2 tube socket with Deoxit (might as well clean them all while your at it) swap the v2 tube with a known good one( low noise is a must, Diezel says Ruby 12AX7AC5 HG+)

Replace preamp tubes. V1 and V2 are causing the noise.
