Hello guys, sorry for that question but I need to know.

I want to buy VH4 but I can buy only VH4s is S version same as mono version in sound?
I dont need that stereo mode, but can buy only s version.

So is the sound is the same? Can I buy and not keep in mind that maybe mono version simple better in gain or something?

Never owned a VH4....
but had a VH4S....
and its been my fave tone since.......
I will............own this amp again!!!

I've had experience with both. The VH4S is awesome for being a stereo amp - doesn't get much better than this... The stereo panning work swell with effects. However, that being said, it is a 50W amp x 2 and this means it DOES mean it reacts and behaves slightly different than a mono 100W head. I found the Diezel tone to be bang-on with either, but my preference changes between the two for various reasons. The mono VH4, once you get the MV past noon, really plays incredibly with respect to touch dynamics and feedback and string articulation and roar. The VH4S, I felt, got into more of a saturated level sooner (makes sense, it's 50W a side independent of one another more or less - single pre, two post) on the volume scale, and it reacts differently - awesome just the same - but differently.

If you can get yer hands on a VH4S, just make sure you have either a stereo cab or 2 cabs to use it with. I sold one of my VH4S heads to this cat a couple years back and he immediately upon delivery blew an OT due to only using one output. They're born every day, people... :dunno:

But ya, get the "S" and hey, if you seriously don't groove with it but think you still got wood for the mono version, they're easy to trade and sell - Diezel is in demand.

Hope this helped.

Thanks guys, maybe any opinions?
And if I try stereo>mono cable, what is it be?

I just scare to lose some gain potential of amp, what it mean on Diezel site about little bit softer sound? I want full power of that sound :D

Then wait for the VH4 and don't mess with stereo > mono cabling.

I agree here. Don't mess with trying to make the VH4S a mono amp. It's NOT!

There are VH4's out there for sale and you will be better off not trying anything that could even potentially screw up a $3000+ amp.

Personally, I feel it is always better to buy the correct equipment for the job, rather than trying to modify equip you have to fit...plus as has been said, Diezel amps are not difficult to resell, especially if you buy used in the first place.

Good Luck

I too wanted a Mono VH4....
but a VH4S came up in a trade deal.
Only had one 4x12 cab at the time.
Ended up buying a 2nd 4x12 and man having the stereo VH4 was the best tone ever.
Just simply a WALL OF TONE!!
What I liked about the VH4S....was one of my cabs was a little 'weaker' then the other.
BUT...... :D
I could add more depth and presence to the 'weak cab' to even them out.
Tone simply RULED!
When I go back Diezel....pretty sure it will be the VH4S.
Unless I score another Lynch Box cab to make it equal.
