Trying to decide between a jcm 800 4x12 with old greenbacks or the deliverance 4x12. Can't a/b them. Currently playing thru an avatar2-12 wirh green backs so maybe the vht for some variation? Don't really think i can go wrong either way. Looking for opinions on those that have played thru both.
Thanks, Rob.

I have never played the JCM, but I have the D412 and it completely crushes your rib cage.

I swapped speakers a bit and ended up going with V30 X 75 and it is VERY comparable to an Uberkab, I did get to A/B those. (i use the P50's) with an extension cab which gives a great full sound.

Now keep in mind the D cab I love, but its not very 3D at all..

I really want to A/B a FB and a D412 to see what the differences are...

Once again,
VHT amps + VHT cabs = bliss.

Owned a D120 & a Ultra-Lead.
No cabs made these amps there best other than VHT cabs.
Ran through Bogner V30 4X12,Marshall grenback 4x12.
Then grabbed two Fatbottom VHT cabs..BIG BIG differance.

The Deliverance cabs will give you more woody tone vers. Fatbottoms open forward beam punch.

I really need to try a FB...BADLY!!!!!

General opinion is VHT kick's major ass.

My amp growls and barks at you and it makes me feel tougher than I really am .

Well, if the greenbacks are truly old you might actually get decent money for them if you end up not liking the cab with your amp. I instinctively would choose the greenback Marshall cab but that's because I would be trying to get the Deliverance as close to Marshall as possible. Cosmetically though I would also like to have a matching cab and then put greenbacks in it. Ultimately I would try and buy both

I absolutely LOVE P50Es. A little less forgiving than the typical speaker however.

Thanks for the input. Picked up the Marshall cab. Sounds great and got a good price. Real happy with it.

Aloha, Rob.
