Has anyone compared these two amps sound wise, need some opinions.

M90 has more gain on tap.

i like the rythmn sound of the M90 better than the D60, don't remember how the D60 was for leads.

the D60 is a damn good amp for the money! only downside is no loop.

the Sig-x would be a more fair comparison to the M90, and be tougher to decide which is better.

dollars not considered i'd take an M90 over a D60, and at the time took the M90 over the Sig-x also.

BUT, i for sure liked the Sig-x better for leads than the M90. and the Sig-x can do pretty much anything the D60 can, and then some! Sig-x has more gain on tap with a loop and clean.

No more opinions on this?.How would the EVH 5150 III compare to the Elmwood m90 tone wise.

problem is every time someone offers you an opinion you tell them why it's wrong because you already seem to know what you want to hear and feel your opinion is ultimately the only right one. you don't ask to find answers you ask to stir up chaos.

telling guys like john suhr and dave friedman they're wrong about vh tone is just foolish, even if you did hang out with "jose" at his shop.

i'd go with the d60 w/d

Mentoneman,I stir up chaos????,Stop assuming things and saying thinks that are not true, suhr and friedman were NOT around in the 70s doing amp work for Ed,Jose was, case closed........Mentoneman you believe what you want it really doesnt matter to me,anyway this thread is about VHT and Elmwood amps,so go back to the gear page.
