Curious between these two amps

admittedly one is more flexible with the amount of modules out there, however if anyone has owned/played both how do they stack up?

Both amps are very high on my radar at the moment, and trying to decide between the two

The VHT/fryette has all the footswitching options i would need and solid tones from what i've seen

The Randall has the swap out flexibility that i like, but maybe more limited footswitch wise

I've tried both at low volumes, but it's not really a fair way to judge the amps unfortunately,

thanks

I have played on both at volume. But had little time with the Randall. It was years ago and can not remember what modules. I like the Randall ... but did not buy it. The build quality of the Fryette stuff is as good as it gets. The Sig X is the only multi-channel amp I use much any more.

I really dug the Sig X's rhythm channel. The clean is decent and so is the lead. I never really cared for the Randall. It was one of those amps that sounded good at home but with a band it got lost in the mix. :scared:

thanks for the info, i'll see if i can strike a deal/trade locally as both these heads came up
