I was wondering. How heavy can the Pitbull 50 get? I played a UL and it slayed but does the 50cl have a good amount of gain on tap?

Bruh, the CL is the most mean and disgusting metal amp I have ever played.

I can only speak on the 100CL so I am unsure how the 50CL is. Regarding the gain, I find the Pitbulls similar to my Bogner. More gain then you will need but it is not the typical 5150 type of gain. More grainy and less buzzy is the only way I can describe it.

One day I will own another Pitbull. I owned a First Run UL and the 100CL slayed it to pieces in MY opinion. If you are looking for OMG that is the most crushing, evil and brutal shit ever. That is how I describe the Pitbull CL but again, only have played the 100CL.

Edit: I will say the UL I had provided a much wider dispersion. Filled the room more and was definitely bigger sounding but 100CL ftw.

Go for it... i gotta 50CL my first amp and it crushes... its tight handle high gain well... i kinda like the green channel of the 50CL.. but red is more focus... its gotta class A and AB switch and a tube rectifier selection... its generally thick decent clear high gain tones...

I gotta UL too but i dont see the UL orange channel is a take on the CL Green channel.... i still like my 50CL Green channel best thou the UL orange is abit different... i cant wait to getta CLX and the sig X if i have a chance.... nice amp it can fit in the category of the best 50watter high gain amp... 50CL is still tight and chug well but i find the UL is more aggressive tighter and meaner...
