Badass, I like it.... sounds killer, Herbert sounds killer. playing and arrangement are outstanding, got its own thing going on, and it's a breathe of fresh air, where everything starts to sound the same, you guys got some cool shit going on there. Congrats!!! can't wait to hear the album.

That's pretty damn good! It's not normally my kind of music but mixing up the interesting rhythms and guitar work in there really kept my attention. You definitely got something new going on there. Keep it up!

All guitars were recorded in order to be re-amped later.. So i used ampfarm, amplitube etc just to hear a distorted signal and kept the clean hiZ signal tracks.
Then all tracks were re-amped in the studio using a Diezel Herbert and just in some cases a Mesa Road King for some extra bottom.
We used 3 mics for each channel. But we only kept the 2 sm57s. (The 3rd was a condenser mic but wasn't really good for the mix sound of the guitar).
For rhythms 4 tracks with Diezel. 2lft 2 right. 2 hard panned and 2 a little closer. Then 2 for Road King when needed again hard panned.
Sometimes we also use one extra channel thats mono used on center with a wide spread effect. Usually a more "buzzing" tone that's sometimes used for aggresiveness..
Lead were done in a similar way.. All mono channels of course.. Re-amped and then some EQ,delays etc.
 
One of the best "Herbert-record-sound" I've ever heard. Congrats!
