Just an FYI to all my freinds both in the Lone Star state and here @ the RT Page that I will be bringing my "Iconic Tones, Vintage 100wt Marshall vs. Boutique Clones" seminar to the Dallas International Guitar Festival this year www.guitarshow.com April 15-17. This started at the Nashville Amp Expo and was a big hit so myself and partner Gary Bohannon are taking it on the road and hope that all the Texas toneslinger's will enjoy hearing some stallar sounding old and new 100 watt amps at MAX volume, no attenuators! There will be modern versions by Wallace,Metropolus,Germino,Rheinhart, and Retro King going up against some stellar vintage versions w/basketweave cabs from 66'-73' in an all out, cage match of brown sound,wall-o-doom fury! Some old vintage 50's strats and Lesters will be on hand to pound out the jams through said amplificators and there is even talk of hooking THREE FULL STAX together for some real earwax melting pleasure in the grand finale!LOL! Hope to see a lot of the RT crowd there and please make yourself known to me if you are there because it is always nice to put faces with avatars ya know! Here is a link to some pics and info about the event and hope you can make it out! http://forum.metroamp.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=35054

Yes, check out all the listings at http://www.guitarshow.com.

I've looked twice and can't seem to find a list. what section is it under?
It's hard to find but it is under the performance list and the seminars are listed in green highlights and by the stages they will be performing on. They just posted them yesterday so it took them a while to work out the massive schedule!

Just an FYI that the Sunday time has changed to 2:30-3:30pm!

Heres what went down in Dallas last weekend.......

I had a really great time blazin' through all these fine 100 watters and it all got video'd by the folks at Dangerousguitar.com so I'll post something up asap when it becomes available!

oh, there are only a few things that can make me weak in the knees, and the picture of all those gorgeous amps does it for me :worship:

that's bitchin. So how were the amps?
They were all stellar old and the new! I think a lot of folks were surprised that the clones could come that close to the real deal a couple were just as good as the originals. There is a video coming of the whole thing that I will post up asap and then you can judge for yourself.
