Is Don drunk? He sounds fine, but what's up with the weird hoe-down dance he does?

Why is Don dressed like a male nurse? Wonder if that's the Monsters Of Rock tour when they went on right after Metallica? I felt so bad for Dokken because Metallica just annihilated the stadium and it was like a funeral when Dokken went on.

Don is a little screechy here but still passable... I think as the 90's approached, so did the Sammy Hagar baggy cargo pants thing because that is the look Don is sporting here. Looks like a bit of a lame show where back drops and lights are concerned though. Everything looks to have been covered because of rain. The one thing that is fantastic though, is Lynch. Sounds awesome here and really cookin.

I'm a huge Lynch fan, and never got to see him live with Dokken. Kinda amazed at how loose and free he is onstage compared to what I've seen. I've seen some great performances and some that just weren't that great. He always seems very rigid onstage now. The man is and always will be an inspiration to me and my playing. Just a crazy observation

This video rocks it and George is on fire!!! I missed this tour as I was in the military, but got ot see them on Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key, Dysfunctional, and Shadow Life.

Great stuff! Love the band so much, but Don is such a tool live. LOL
I saw them on Under Lock and Key opening for Loverboy.
George was just on fire. He'll always be one of my faves!

Interesting watching some of the 87 Dokken live clips, George isn't using as much gain on the leads as you would think. He is really working for the notes and the tapping stuff. He seems to have continued in that vein lately. Fights the leads sometimes. He had it right with Lynch Mob. Just enough saturation there for his style.

I saw that tour, it was monsters of rock and Don looked like a fat ice cream man, his voice was shot but the band rocked. They were crushed by Metallica for sure.

Yeah I saw this tour at Giants Stadium in NJ, I remember Kingdom Clone getting trashed by all the Metallica fans. The place went NUTS for Metallica, the crowd was dead for Dokken. Then the Scorpions kinda woke everyone back up, the put on a good show. But it was clear that Metallica was going to be huge.

Here is that Kami George used on that tour. I bought it off a Lawyer buddy of mine that got it directly from George.
Had it back when I was collecting guitars heavy. :D
Long long been sold off by myself.
Wish I had better pics. But they died on my old computer.

That was my favorite guitar of his. Wonder why guys like Lynch sell guitars like that. Is it because they have too many, or they need the money?

I don't understand how you guys can listen to that and say it's good tone or sounds great.
I can't hear anything. It sounds terrible.
