what type of mod do you do too these? i sent mine too lee and he fixed the heaters, the thing with the ampeg light in the front( something about it robbed you of extra gain?) and by the way what mojo do you work on these amps. thanks for your time.
 
I do a mod that is sort of like a Hairy Brown eye but a little different. Sound great when done.
 
This is the amp and mod that Dave did for me. You won't be disappointed. The thing now sounds amazing after Dave did his work to it.

I got a VL 1002 that fja modded its ok I like the one lee did the heater mods etc on..
Mine has a really weak reverb compared to the other ones..
I think I had Lee fix that to..
Id let Dave do anything to it..
Whats the cost for the mod you do ??
Im down for it..+ can you check and see what is wrong with the reverb..I put a new pan in and still the same. Its very low and faint on both channels..

Well the mod would cost 500.00 and as far as the rev do you really need it???
 
well Im and 80s early 90s guy I like accutronics reverb.
 
my reverb tank was a bit iffy for a little while. but the problem fixed itself. i have no idea how or why, but it is a Accutronics 4AB3C1B . i wish you luck brother. :thumbsup:
