Hi guys,
I have been reading into Voltage Regulators, lately. I own a BE-100 and would like to keep it in top condition as much as possible. Where I live (Netherlands; Europe), the wall voltage is usually pretty stable - I would really only be worried about fluctuations or spikes when playing out (clubs, outdoor events using generators, etc). General opinion seems to be that Furman regulators are the way to go, but are there any good alternatives?
Since I use a very simple set-up (no effects, rack units, etc), I am wondering if the Furman regulators are worth the investment.. the prices are pretty steep (EUR 1400,- new). I realize it'll cost more to replace or repair my BE-100 IF something goes terribly wrong...
Anyone have an educated opinion about this?
