Hey guys,
I'm noticing that when I put my MXR 10 band EQ pedal in my serial effects loop of my VH4, there is a noticeable volume drop. Moreover, when I turn the pedal on, the volume jumps quite a bit, even with the gain and volume on the pedal set to 0. I thought i'd add that I have my pedal right before my EWS Subtle volume control pedal, which then goes back to the return on the amp.
I'm wondering if anyone knows that's going on here? Your input would be appreciated!
EDIT: I just thought i'd plug in another question here. I have an MXR line boost pedal, would you recommend putting that in my loop, or in front of the amp (after a TS808)? I don't plan on trying to stack them for extra boost, I just want two different flavors of boost. TS808 more for tightening and adding more treble bite for my rhythm, and my line driver for just a straight boost.
