I got the new Morley Lynch Dragon wah today. Just now plugged it in. I was kind of dissappointed in it. Ill give it some more time though...

chain= Ibanez Rg4 with dimarzios-->Tremonti-->Lynch-->Tonelab LE using headphones.

My observation is that the Tremonti is a MUCH more powerful and brighter wah pedal. The Lynch in normal mode has a bit of a traditional wah sound, but it is pretty subtle. It doesn't really cut on the high notes like the Tremonti. Those used to the Tremonti will see that the Lynch is not near as bright.

OTOH, when the WOW button on the Lynch is activated, it's like taking the Q knob and turning it all the way down. It has a ton of low end and is great for distorted chords. This mode absolutely SUCKS for leads and cleans. The Tremonti doesn't even come close to the low end this thing delivers.

So far im digging both of them. ill take the Lynch to next band practice and see how it works. If i want a really powerful wah that cuts for solos, ill use the Tremonti.

Honestly, I like them both. Love the WOW mode on the Lynch and for me it cuts great. Once you find the sweet spot it's almost Schenker sounding...very cool. I love the Morley stuff but not so sure on the quality control...I've owned 3 different Tremonti's and the all sounded different. Still own 2 Tremonti's, one is brighter than the other so obviously they've got some tolerance variances in them. Still though...love the switchless stuff and at this point really can't use another wah as these have been integrated into much more than just spicying up solos.

i have both they are def different, i find the wow works with soloing depending on what your playing.but if i had to choose tremonti would win.
i switched from dunlop to morley, cuz of switchless pedal, always hated makin sure that dam switch clicked on a crybaby.still have a 535q,sold the rest and my rack wah as well.
