My current Shiva 20rh has KT88s and I wonder if that's what the disconnect is for me?

Tempted to convert to EL34 as I can always convert back. My tech can do it.

Do any of you know what Cantrell used when he had the Shiva? I read he had a 20th model for some time.

The straight up 88 loaded 20thA Shiva will shred the likes of Cantrell all day all night. It's in the guitar, the picking, and the feel... But I love my Jerry-In-A-Box Shiva. Not to mention it does a shit-ton of other clean to mean tones as well. It's a sick amp man. I love mine.

My previous Shiva 20th had 6CA7power tubes. I've always had a thing for EL34 tubes but KT88s are pretty big and mean sounding. I just get the itch now and then for an EL34.

I'm looking to get a Revv next.
