Was Jimmy Page a Mad Scientist as well?

You just making shit up now Donald LOL

True story.

“The problem with you guys is you never do ballads,” Harrison once told John Bonham. This conversation filtered through to Jimmy Page, who regaled the tale to biographer Brad Tolinski. “I’ll give him a ballad,” Page vowed and set about crafting one of the most epic I’ll-show-you’s in music.

“I wrote ‘Rain Song’, which appears on Houses of the Holy,” Page continued, “In fact, you’ll notice I even quote ‘Something’ in the song’s first two chords.”

😛

Do not question D.B. when it comes to inane rock trivia.
It's a losing proposition.

tampa in 73 greensboro 74 greensboro 77 which was the last tour in the US.Canceled alot of it due to plant`s son dying. Never toured america again after that.

greensboro 74

Think you mean 1975 - Zep took 1974 off from the road.

The 1973 Tampa show is the one where they broke The Beatles Shea Stadium concert record.
So cool you were part of that.

It was in the winter/ cold I remember that, first of the year? I was 16/17?

I bet Plant sounded like shit too. Unlike 73 where they toured through the summer,
someone had the stupid idea to tour the US during the winter. Plant had the flu and was
hoarse as hell for the first week or so. Greensboro was on Jan. 29th and the Boston show
that got cancelled would have been Feb. 4th

Blast from the past:

Time flies man that was something that has stood the test of time. 78 VH tour came close but no cigar. You had to have been there. IMO there is nothing that touched Zep in the history of rock, sorta jaded me.
