So my 73 year old Mom invited myself and my 12 year old daughter to the Ringling Brothers circus on Sunday morning and we were there for the terrible accident where the performers fell from the ceiling.

My daughter captured the whole thing on her cell phone and that footage was aired worldwide by ABC News exclusively and on Good Morning America. CBS news New York came to my mothers house within hours and we did a sit down interview.

Thank goodness nobody was killed. I am not a huge fan of the circus and only attend because my Mom had got the tickets and wanted to see it with my daughter. Our thoughts are with the injured for a speedy recovery.

Here is some of the footage and my interview from the CBS Morning show yesterday.

Wow, that's crazy. Did your daughter receive any compensation for her vid?

yes, it will go into her college fund.

Man, that thing came down as soon as they moved. I figured they must have been in the middle of some pretty forceful acrobatics to snap that rig, but apparently not. Somebody's got some 'splainin' to do.

Did you see the online bullshit animal lovers saying,
" what about all the elephants, tigers and horses that get abused everyday"

Wow, that's crazy Brad.
Its amazing nobody got killed...
Glad to hear your girl some College help though!

I heard one of the performers fell on one of the clown cars, killing 108 clowns.

That's what I was thinking too. That's twice on the news in a couple of years. I know there are only 17 people who live in Rhode Island but that's still a pretty good ratio of news coverage. :D

As a parent, any help to the college fund is
