Wassup homies? Kage here and its been awhile...

Ive been out if the loop for quite some time. I pretty much stopped playing in 2010 after my divorce to concentrate on my son and everything else.

I tried to come back about 3 years ago but fret hand pain made me put it down again after a couple of months.

A pharmacist buddy of mine turned me on to an anti inflammatory gel for my knees and as luck would have it, it made my hand feel better just from using it to rub the stuff into my knees lolol.

Looking forward to making music again in a big way. I got over the gear thing a long time ago when I realized that no matter what, I was and always will be the weakest part of my rig and that the gear I have is more than adequate .

Just want to stop in and say hi to some of the old crew... hope that you all are doing well in spite of the lunacy that we've been dealing with for the last year..

I have many injuries that are arthritic. Can you PM or give me a link to that gel ?

I’ve had carpal tunnel surgeries on both hands… I had to have my right one done a second time and now I have synovial tissue building up around the nerve yet again…
I have seen a rheumatologist and they are now putting me on a very light arthritis medication.
It’s been a nightmare.

Its called Voltaren..it was prescription only until about 2 years ago, they also have a generic as well...damn near a miracle for me but YMMV...good to hear from you!!

Keith!!! Good to see you!!! Getting old sucks bro lol. I have to schedule shoulder surgery because I blew it out in early 2020 and can't do anything now. No lifting, no heavy bag / Muay Thai, no BJJ...im losing my mind and the pain sucked but Voltaren gel has been a god send

The funny thing is that I have a load of Dr friends, several of them are orthopedic surgeons and non of them could help me. There was an old school HCAF dude named Cole that im still friends with and he a smart dude who happens to be a pharmacist and he turned me on to Voltaren and it really has been life changing for me
 
Wow...this is a nice Friday surprise! I forgot you existed until Shea mentioned your name on guitar gear forum in regards to a couple of things you let him borrow. Sorry to hear you're going through aches and pains but I'm glad you're ok otherwise. Don't be a hermit and pop by here more often man! Especially when you start playing on the reg again.

Just called my Pharmacy, they have it over the counter. Im heading there now. Muchos Gracias.
 
Name was PurityS.L.G. I just shortened it haha. We mainly chatted a bit here and there on HCAF. I disappeared from 2011 to Oct. 2020 myself. It was a trip to see who still hung in there after all these years. A lot of OG's are gone though sadly...
