Way OT, High School is fucked up

We just got a call from our sons assistant principal.
It appears that his ex girlfriend slashed her wrists over him last night or this morning after she threatened to do it yesterday morning and then his current girlfriend called her on it and gave her shit about it.
oh, it gets better.
apparantly, she had called him two days ago, threatened this to him (this is going on while we are dealing with my 11 year old in the hospital with double pneumonia and a collapsed lung) because his current girlfriend was giving her a hard time for trying to win him back.
but wait, theres more
Mini freud here then decided that he is going to handle this on his own, gets a hold of his current girlfriend, tells her to lay off and explains to her that his ex was a cutter, and that he doesnt want to be responsible for her hurting herself again.
She responds by calling the ex, accusing her of trying to emotionally black male the boy into getting back with her, calls her all kinds of things, and then tells her that if she catches her near my son she will take care of it for her.
fast forward to last night, she slashes herself.

Is this shit normal?! of is my boy just attracting bunny boilers?
oh, and btw, they are all in 10th grade!
now we have the cutters mom calling to give us grief, and were still reeling from almost losing our boy last weekend to his illness.
We need this shit like we need a hole in the head.

That is pretty fucked up. There was a story I read about a year ago where the *parent* of a kid in high school pretended to be some hot guy on myspace. The girl fell in love and a whole bunch of shit happened. The girl eventually killed herself. Ain't that some shit?

If your son dumps her they can do whatever the fuck they want to each other and your son has no play in that hand. As far as the mother calling, you need to tell her to fuck off and die. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes guys.
My middle son was in the thick of it for a few days with double pneumonia which ended up resulting in a partially collapsed lung late friday/early saturday.
He is a severe asthmatic with some hefty allergies to boot, and he got hit hard with a viral lung infection that took him almost totally out in less than 24 hours. Really Fucked.
My oldest knows these girls are messed up and her cutting herself is not his fault. And I doubt the mother will be bothering us again, she was probably simply reacting to fear. Last I heard she was with her daughter in the hospital,(cops took here there this afternoon) where they have her under a 24 hour watch and psych evaluation.

Kids are fucked today, (on a whole, there are some that are good decent outstanding people.)

My friends younger brothers or sister are just way you there now. My drummers sister just turned
19, and she has a 1 year old kid.... from some dude thats fucking older than i am.

I'm constantly seeing my friend being asked by their brother or sisters to get this this be it drugs
or booze, because their parents won't. Its a little sad.
