I just remember I got an email from a DAR vendor in Turkey. At the time I was dismissive, but now I have to wonder if he does indeed have a legitimate complaint:

This is [name removed per request], from AMBAR Guitars Turkey (http://www.ambarguitars.com / facebook.com/ambarguitars) I saw you would like to get DAR Amplification product. We are a dealer of DAR Amps from Turkey. I want to take your attention on Dar's Fraud.

In last summer (2011) we gave our order to Dar Amp did first payment as they requeired. Till now, 02/2012 they could not deliver our product. Being a firm we decided to cancell our order and request a refund. More than a month we could not get our money back. There is no product and there is no refund. Now one of the guy from DAR, Mike, says after selling our head they will do the refund but there is no product to deliver. We should have got our item in 2011 Agust.

I saw you started your business with DAR but be careful on your business with them.

It's a shame... The company had potential. I would even be weary to buy one on the used market at this piont being that I'm not sure if there are proprietary designs, parts or painted parts inside that only he can repair.

he seems to have changed, he answers when i call every time and hes never given me a date this close before, it was always 2 weeks or a month out then. im more optimistic but i will believe it when i see it

I agree. When Cameron was having all the problems (pre-Brad) r-t kept the forum going.

We did not have the traffic then we have no and we are crashing the server as it is. I want to bring in some more good builders and too do that I need to cut out some of the less traveled forums and forums that are trainwrecks.

Let`s bring in James Peters, that guy deserves a forum all his own. Hell of a knowledgeable guy and cool as hell too.

His amps aren`t too shabby either....

Hey Guys,

Want to give an update here... This week I have been working on a Forza/Tuzzia matters, mods, repairs and next week will be focusing on the FBM gear again. I am hoping to be able to get a couple FBM's out per week moving forward. I did severely damage my left shoulder in the beginning of July and have constant troubles with it. I'll do my best to follow up on emails today/this weekend as well and call the people whom I need to follow up with via phone as well. I currently work 2 other jobs and it is essential supporting the DAR project and keep things going..

I'm really sorry for all the folks that are upset and anxious. I'm not going anywhere, so please don't be concerned about that. I have to ship a few of the initial heads to high priority customers whom REALLY have waited far longer that the rest and deserve the amps immediately. Then I will be back on track... hopefully

I'd love to turn things around and once again make this fun and exciting for everyone whom has trusted in me and the technology that's here. I have made mistakes in how things have progressed, and will certainly make more... but the technology is really awesome and truly does deserve to be in the hands of you guys. That's what keeps me excited to be doing this! So, hopefully nerves will be eased shortly.
