Who has used one ?

I have one. Have used it maybe 10 times and no issues yet.

Been debating between this or the Eurotubes Pro One.

I like having 4 sockets but the Pro One lets you play with it in and also subtracts currents for you so no confusing math.

Had one for years and used it dozens of times. They work great.

PERFECT TIMING FOR THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!

I have had one for YEARS and I use it alongside my shunt-method of biasing to make sure I'm right with my numbers (pV, etc). Just so happened one of its sockets blew when I was working on my Rev.2 The guys were awesome - sent me an RMA slip and I sent it back. It returned just last week and the socket wasn't operable - who knows what happened or didn't happen - but it was still fubar'd.

I emailed the guys - politely but kinda like "wtf?!" - and BOOM, no questions asked - a brand new one is being shipped as I type here right now. THAT is top-notch customer care and service. Regardless of the little mishap with my original unit not getting fixed or being diagnosed correctly, they stepped up and saved me ALL hassles and are sending me a brand new one - zero cost.

So, in short - I love Weber for their customer service! Secondly, they're great units but I am still a staunch believer in learning how to measure your amp's guts with a meter and varied methods so you know - as its owner and player - just what the hell is going on with it. BUT(!!!), don't get into unless you know what you're doing (I do most of my stuff up to a point, after that, it goes to Master Ho in Vancouver, simple).

Long post. Sorry.

Weber Bias Rite is dope. And so is the company :2thumbsup:

Have it. Love it. Never had an issue. If you are savvy enough to want to bias your amps it's well worth the investment imo

Just echoing what has already been said: Had one for many years, no issues, works like it's supposed to.

I use a bias rite. Mine is almost a decade old and has been used extensively...at least 100 times. Never failed.

That said, the eurotubes one can be used while playing so you can tweak and know exactly what mA you like the best.

Great unit, I have had mine for probably a decade or more. Never an issue.

For those that have the basic probes without the attached meter, what setting do you use on your multimeter? Are you biasing based on volts or amps? The instructions that come with the probes state differently than on their website. Website says mV, paper instructions say mA.

Only having two bias probes can be a PITA with 100w heads

I had one for like 10 years, sold it when I needed the money, no complaints from the buyer. Since then I bought a new one, love it, no probs.

Really handy for tube changes and quick bias adjustments. I used one for years without any problems, but I've heard that the guide keys can break off easily.

Maybe not supposed to, but I play with the Weber unit hooked up.
