2204 combo 4140 here.. I also wasn't really in love with the g1265 that was in there so I am thinking those higher powered greenback types don't hold together well in an open back and a rather cheaply made old marshall cab. I was going to pair it up with a retro 30 in a sealed back but then i got to thinking maybe i'd order a 1 x 12 with a retro 30 and then swap speakers and put the weber in a closed back cab which is where i think it is more intended to be used. Not enough bite with that speaker. Very smooth. Thoughts? Please don't say CREAMBACKS!!!!!! lol

Lynchback is very cool as are the warehouse Vet30

Thanks for the reply.. the lynchback is def on the radar as well. I like the price points of the WGS stuff and the retro 30 sounded bigger and fuller to me. Anyone have one?

What about a CL80, I really liked those with my Marshall 2553. Though, I have not used them in an opened back cab yet....
