Allright guys had a real weird problem with my Herbert at practice last night.
The phantom power to my midipedal stopped working. Or well, my pedal got power but it just flickered and froze as soon as I switched patches. I measured the phantom and it was only 7v. Restart did nothing to help this. However, it doesn't stop there.
Channel 3 died as well. I switched out the pretubes in v1, v2 and v3 and got it back. Yay. Until I switch channels.
If I switch away from channel 3 to channel 1 or 2 and try to go back again channel 3 is dead silent again and won't come back unless I switch the v2 tube out then it starts all over again. This happened even if I unplugged everything but the speakers and switched channels manually with the switches on the front.
Also something else I noticed. If I have the quiet Ch3 selected and switch mastervolume before I go to Ch1 or 2 that channel will also be completely silent until I switch mastervolume again then both MV will work fine again.
Channel 1 and 2 works flawlessly. Is it safe to play with channel 1 & 2 because I have a very important gig coming up and I won't have the time or money to get this repaired until then
What the hell is going on here?
