I was a huge RATT fan in the early to mid-80s and although the majority of people these days barely know who they are, most of us that lived thru that period remember them being everywhere back then.

After a trillion different Ratt versions over the years and all of the drama, they seemed to be trying to build momentum again and were playing out more, etc. Bobby Blotzer was basically let go but out of any of the members I really didn't think it was going to impact anything. Well now this. A new version of RATT without Warren DeMartini. For me this IS the nail in the coffin and I don't care if they are playing a show in my neighborhood for free, I won't be there.

So pathetic that with four original members, and with all of the 80s metal shows and festivals, that these guys couldn't get their crap together. This will be a disaster:

It's a bad situation, but IMHO in this music climate, these musicians still need to get out and tour and earn a paycheck and they'll put together a band anyway they can and good luck to them. I'll see it if they come this way.

Be nice to see Warren Demartini do his own thing, put out some new music and tour and do the odd Ratt cover, kind of like what Jake E. Lee is doing now with Red Dragon Cartel.

Saw this yesterday... sad ending. oh well.. glad I got to see them when they reformed in the early 2000's

Was so excited that Pearcy and DeMartini got the rights back from Blotzer and his touring Ratt cover band, and then it turns into Pearcy and his touring Ratt cover band. Ratt without Crosby OR DeMartini? What's the point?

That sucks. I saw them last year and they were great.

Yeah, I would definitely go see DeMartini on his own!

Whatever......I loved them way back when, but they haven't written a good tune since way back when

I liked the song "scatter" on the infestation album...

A bunch for 50+ year-old 13-year-olds. Good grief.

My guess is that we won't see WDM out doing his own thing. From what I've heard, he's part of the reason they haven't been touring as much - he doesn't want to. I'll just "remember" RATT moving forward now. No Robbin was a big enough blow; no Warren...forget it.

Pearcy can’t sing worth shit these days so it not really a big deal.

Yeah, I figured touring might be one of the issues with him. He has always been the most laid back of the band and doesn't really have the "rockstar" thing going on, which is awesome.

I agree with you, best to just have that memory of what they were.

Warren's been good with his money as well.

Pearcy’s voice sounds like a nuclear fart...
Without Warren I’ll pass

I saw the Warren version in the early 2000s, when he had the singer from Love/Hate fronting and The Scream singer playing rhythm guitar. Very impressive, the singer did a better Pearcy than I heard Pearcy do himself back in 87. Lol

Yeah - I saw Ratt/Hate/Scream too, and they were REALLY good! Pearcy is just lazy - it’s like he doesn’t even want to try. Warren was the last reason to see these guys.

The funniest thing here is that anyone thinks there is a RATT without Warren. Warren is RATT. His riffs, his rythms, it's all him.

Warren Demartini is the only reason I would go see RATT period. Not sure if this is true or not but I heard a big part of why he departed the band is because he just doesnt want to tour anymore.
