I was flipping through HULU and saw Limp Biscuit Lollapalooza 2021 and decided to check it out. I AM NOT a LB fan but was familiar with a few of there songs. Well Wes Borland had a killer tone from the very first chord. Looked like he was running 5150 Iii heads and cabs. Sounded awesome and raw.

I watched some concert the other night (not sure if the same one) and Durst was wearing a grey old man wig. Wes's tone was fucking CRUSHING, agreed. He was using a Jackson V, looks like a lefty he flipped upside down or something.

Yup, that's the one.

I remember when he used VH4 and a triple rec. dudes always had good tones I think . After the first album that is

Wes always had great tone in my opinion. I'm curious to see how their new album sounds. I almost forgot about Limp Bizkit until I saw this thread.

Sounds like the EVH3, blue channel gain all the way up with a hot humbucker.

I remember back in around 2005, Wes touted a new band and there was a clip with drippy saturated high gain tone. Believe it was a Diezel amp. I don’t recall anything coming of that project, though? Not that I was following it closely though.

Some have said he has jazz chops? Has he released anything with interesting guitar playing?

Good energy on stage.... I just can't get into their music AT ALL.

But good on them for the cute groupies. The one on her phone looks kinda bored though. Must be there for the 'gram shots.

54:29 is a pretty fun rock n roll moment. Also, maybe its the costume, but wes looks like he is tripping balls at this gig.

I wonder how that guitar thrown in the audience played out. Someone’s got a sweet custom Kelly.
