OK, picking up the VH4 on Monday.

Never had this kind of setup before and have no knowledge on this topic what so ever.

What I have is

VH4
Hagen
Front Loaded 4x12
Axe FX II
MFC-101

Now, I want the Hagen to be the amp that gets all the effects and the VH4 to remain dry.

so, EDUCATE ME!!!

Simples way is to plug into the VH4 and put the VH4 into half of your cab (which I assume is stereo capable). Connect the VH4 thru to the Hagen input. Put the Axe FX in one of the Hagen loops, and then connect the Hagen to the other half of the cabinet.

There's probably some way to controll both heads and the Axe with your controller, but I have no idea how. Also, keep an ear out for whether the Diezels are out of phase or not. Their phases will change as you change channels. Ultimately, if you plan to do on the fly channel switching running both, you should look into the y-not splitter so you can separately control the relative phase via midi as you change channels.

Think about one of these.
The Diezel 4x12 ought to be mono/stereo on the back - make sure of this first.
Run the VH4 into 1/2 the cab, the Hagen in a 4CM or serial or whatever config you want out into the 2nd 1/2 of cab.
Sort out the phasing issues if any (the Lehle comes in very hand for this).
Prepare to pull your hair out.

Enjoy

As already mentioned you can use your cab in stereo and hook one head to half of it and the other half is left for the second amp. Your Axe FX II goes into the loop of the Hagen. The most important thing is to keep the amps in phase on all channel combination between the 2 amps. If you're planning to use the setup mostly at home you can go with the Lehle. However, since you already have a MIDI controller and if you're going to rehearse and/or play live with that setup you better go with RJM Y-Not and particularly their YB- (as in "negative") mod. The Y-Not is absolutely transparent and its advantage is that you can invert phase via MIDI, something the Lehle can't do. Lehle is really a nice piece of gear but it has its limitations.

Nothing in front of VH4 either? Things tend to get complicated when you have some units that are to be joint either in loops or up-front. I have a dual mono rig as well with both amps having individual FX-units (+ some other stuff), but both share the rack-wah in front.

I strongly recommend not to use Omni-mode to MIDI-control your setup, but instead configure an independent MIDI-channel for each device so you will have full control over the programming.

I also use RJM Y-Not with phase-reverse mod. It works perfectly!

Thanks for all the advice.

I've noticed I will need a few more things to get this to work.

Would I need a Line Driver?

I'm thinking of getting a Effects Gizmo. Mainly because I have 7 Pedals that I still want to use. So i'm thinking to use the Effects Gizmo to switch the pedals infront of the amp and the Axe FX in the Loop.

Thinking of buying a 2nd Diezel Cab.

2nd Diezel cab would definitely make things sonically better. I'm a bit skeptical of running a WD system through 1 stereo cab.

Line driver wouldn't be too necessary. I'd try it all first before you decide you need anything extra.

Agree with Mo. Wet/Dry into one cab is less than great.

3 cabs is even better! :D
2 cabs in stereo for the Wet signal, and 1 cab dry mono in between.
