Hi guys... I have a dilemma regarding wet dry wet system. I have Marshall TSL 122 combo (100w 2x12) and Blackstar S1-45 (40w 2x12) and Marshall cabinet 2x12. I want to use Marshall TSL for DRY signal and Blackstar for WET (I connected Marshall cabinet on Blackstar for stereo effect). How best connect that would be correct W/D/W system? Whether to connect Marshall TSL emulated line out in effects (Tc electronics Flashback, Strymon Blue SKy Reverb, Digitech hardwire chours), then out from last pedal in RETURN from Fx Loop on Blackstar? Or to connect all system using A/B/Y switch, so that it one signal connect to Input Marshall TSL and second signal connect in effect pedals, then out from last pedal in Return on Blackstar? Or you may have a better idea to propose... Fx loop on Blackstar is serial. I'm trying something with Emulated Line out on Marshall TSL, I connected Line out in effect pedals, then in Return on Blackstar but it did not work. I would be very grateful if someone could help me :)
Thank you very much

To run W/D/W you need two amps for the effected signal and one amp for dry and to drive the effects for the wet signals. You need stereo effects for the Wet left and Wet dry signals and each on needs an amp and cab. You have two mono amps, so you cannot possibly run W/D/W. Simply connecting two cabs to a mono amp (in this case the Blackstar) does not give you stereo effects because each cab connected will be exactly the same signal. You would be running W/D only, not W/D/W.

The whole point of W/D or W/D/W is to not use the effects loop, which usually sucks tone

You need a line out (amp line out, THD Hot Plate, Suhr Iso Line Out) into your effects, into a power amp, into cab(s)

No, you can go W/D just fine returning your effected signal to the return of a simple serial insert loop. That isn't going to suck tone like actually using some loops. He has a line out. He just needs another amp. Optimum setup would be three cabs, one main sound guitar amp with a line out to drive the dry cab and stereo effects and a stereo power amp like the matrix...

Thanks guys. I realized that in my case I can use Wet Dry. What do you suggest, I used Marshall TSL for Dry and Blackstar for Wet. How to connect, together with pedal effects? Used blackstar like power amp, so I'd connected the on RETURN on Fx loop Blackstar. Respectively, Blackstar in this case was Slave Amp for effects. Thanks

Ok, I will use Wet Dry system. What do you suggest, how to connected? Marshall for Dry and Blackstar for Wet. Thanks
