Can't find anything on Google and my best guess is a Mesa Mark something but I've never actually owned one so not going to pretend I'm well educated there.

I'm after the chugs in the song Slug specifically.

I'm watching a live show from the 90s in Maine...looks like a JCM 800 2203/4.

Good idea. Feels a bit tighter (on the album) than a JCM800 to me, maybe it's boosted/EQd that way though.
Oh I'm sure; after listening a bit it's boosted to all hell, maybe 2 pedals in front...very aggressive.

Killer band. I was just thinking about Look Again zine recently..

Awesome, thanks man. Gotta imagine he just cranked all the sliders to 12 except the sub-100s.

Friends with Craig and Jonah who said he used a 2210. Also got to meet Eric at a pizza joint before the 2008 reunion show. All good dudes and one of my all time fav bands. RIP Eric

First time I’ve seen this band mentioned in the wild. My best friend played a ton of gigs with them back in the day and became a big fan as a result.

Yeah i sent Craig a Message yesterday and he said JCM 800 2203 with an MXR 10 Band in the loop. he still has that amp. I LOVE OLW. i had pics of craig on my wall so it's completely weird for me to be Friends with him and Jonah....Although i only met them once in person YEARS ago.

What about Sam Black Church
I never met them but they’re from my area…greenbrier county WV….correct me if I’m wrong but two brothers formed the band? And I assume they’re from Sam black church….right off of I64….back home.

Yeah, two of the members were from Clintonville. One member was also from WV, another from DC. The band formed in Boston while they were going to college, if memory serves correct.

Oh man, I was living in Boston (89-94) when Sam Black Church was around. What a flashback. I think I saw Slapshot a few times around then too. So many good shows came though Boston from all over. Seeing a lot of the 90’s big names touring their first record in clubs was the bomb yo…lol
I remember there was a metal band named Seka that got side barred by the pornstar of the same name who wouldn’t let them use it…lol

Wrecking Crew was another one. I also remember a band called B’zerker (or spelled something like that). Slapshot definitely. I remember that shirt with Wattie’s face on it (Punk’s Dead, You’re Next). I think Seka had a 7” or something on Taang!
