Hey guys,

NAMM is next week, so I'm wondering what new products do you guys think are coming/excited to see?

I wish I could go, but alas I do not have the funds this year.

I see Mezzabarba has a new amp out called the Trinity, which they claim works for pretty much any style. I'm very curious to how it is and would love if some members here who are going could try it out and give their thoughts: http://www.mezzabarba.com/trinity/

Also I know Fortin has his new models, and I'm interested to see what people think (I'm sure there will be posts without me needing to remind everyone haha).

Anything else you guys are interested/curious showing up at NAMM amp-wise?

I'm going, but I have low expectations for really seeing what any new amps can do there. The noise restrictions are a joke, though it's still incredibly noisy. I was talking to Greg Howe when he was demo'ing his Marigold amp and he agreed that he just could not wind it up there with the noise police everywhere. Some folks push the limits a little, but not for long. I saw Akira Takasaki play through a JCM800 halfstack at the ESP room. Ha! Yeah, not gonna get to wind that baby up to where it needs to be. But I do want to meet Dave Friedman and George Metropoulos and chat with them a little.

If you've ever seen those demos in German from Ollie at Session, which is sort of like a GC in Frankfurt, I happened to be at the Bogner booth when Ollie and a cameraman showed up to shoot a quick demo. That was way cool. But there was obviously a ton of noise around.

I don’t actually even know what coming out
I know that the new Suhr PT25 w Ir loading is intresting
Bogner XTC 25

What other amps are rumoured

The only appearance on the schedule I saw by Pete Thorn was I think at Universal Audio. I have run into him walking around at NAMM before, but I think Suhr usually has their own event at Lake Elsinore that same weekend. I would love to see Suhr at NAMM and Pete Thorn do some demos in person. That would be a highlight for me.

Ill be there. Yes I want to check the Mezzabarba Trinity out. XTC 25 could be cool too.

Oooo I didn't think about the noise/restrictions, that could be annoying.\

But yeah the new XTC is probably nice as hell!

namm is a lot of fun but the LA Amp Show is where u can really test amps. Metropolous had me plugged into a into an old boss eq, echoplex, Marshall 1959 clone dimed and 4x12 in one of those little hotel rooms. now that was cool lol

Bogner XTC 25 will not be at NAMM, it will come out in May or June, at least that’s the goal…

I’m looking forward to hearing the new mini Friedman.

I hope Engl finally releases the Savage 120 II and Savage 60 II that they promised a year ago!

This^^^ The Mezzabarba stuff seems like it'd be fun!

Pete Diezel announced they have a new amp at the show
Haven’t seen any info on that except maybe a smaller head
Could be intresting

I know it isn't the type of amp you guys are wondering about but if anyone just happens to swing by the Keeley booth, I'd be curious to hear what you guys think of his collaboration amp with Supro (if you guys like smaller pedal-friendly amps). I've only heard clips.

I think it’s going to be the year of smaller amps w/ recording capabilities
Bogner XTC25
Deizel
Freidman w new 20 water
Suhr PT25

Smaller amps in general seem to be in; like I've always assumed 100w=the size of a "true"/pro amp, but so many boutique builders now specialize in ~50w.

Let us know on the Trinity. I liked the Mzero. Channel one was very good. The overdrive was cool but if the Trinity is better  The clips didn't sound great fwiw
