What cables would you recommend?

I need to get some new cables for my pedalboard setup. Right now I'm using Monster gold in 1' lenghts to go from my wireless to wah to my G-System input. But I'm using regular standard Monster patch cables 3' lenghts to go from my other pedals (Nova Drive, MXR Phase 90 and a Morpheus Droptune) to connect to the external loops of my G-System. I want to replace them with something better. I use Mogami cables for the long runs from my pedalboard to my amp. I found a website where I can get Mogami cables in short lengths (1'- 3' w/ right angles on both or 1 end) or I was thinking about George L cables or Lava cables but I have no experience with the latter 2 brands. Any pro's or cons you guys are aware of between all these different brands? Or another brand you'd recommend? Or should I stick with the Mogami's?

I've heard great things about Mogami 2319 (smaller cable) and 2524. Canare is said to be similar in quality as well. Both can be purchased here: http://www.redco.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?Search=Yes

planet waves and mogami.

but i have about ~120ft of mogami cable that i make with neutrik ends. i like the way planet wave cables sound but i hate the cheap plastic ends on them. i've had 2 of them break.

but yeah i use either of the 2 with great results and differences

I've never used the Planet Waves or the Canare. I use Mogami balanced cables for my long runs with the G-System but I couldn't find short Mogami TS- TS cables at my Guitar Center so I had to settle for the Monster standard. Once I get the cables hooked up they will never move. They'll stay plugged into the pedals and the G-system in side my flightcase pedalboard so I shouldn't have to worry about the ends breaking on them from wear and tear.

Anything that Lava Cable sells should be top-notch. I just bought two Lava brand cables for the long run to my pedals and a Vovox for my guitar to amp. I've been using a Mogami Platinum for the main guitar signal. The Vovox is a little better at blocking RF Interference in my situation.

I have a few Mogami cables and I like them. But I've been reading some amazing things about the Evidence Audio Lyric HG cables and will probably get those for my pedalboard to connect my pedals to my G-Systems loops. Only problem is I need some balanced 20' TRS-TRS cables to go from the G to my amp. I'm currently using Mogami 20' TRS-TRS (balanced) cables from my G-System to my amps. The G-System owners manual states: "If cables longer than 3 feet are used, they should be balanced, even if the connectors on the pre-amp are unbalanced. When balanced cables are used, a special pseudo balanced circuit will reduce the noise which would occur when using unbalanced cables." So I need to see if Evidence makes balanced TRS-TRS cables.

collassal cables seem to perfect to me - they add (or pass too much should i say?) high end brightness. they are much more perfect than your standard cable but that does not necessarily mean it is musical, or its characteristics make it better. i didnt like what it added. the one i tried was a guitar cable. i still much prefer mogami or PW. i would probably use PW in the racks and mogamis for anything up front.

george L's are awsome cables too. i much prefer them over standard monster cable.
