What do I need to A/B 2 preamps with one power amp?

I would like to be able to switch between my Quad and Prophesy II with my VHT 2/50/2.

I am assuming this is possible, but have no idea what I would need to do it or how difficult it might be.

The guru's around here must have the answer

You'll only have 1 output to your cab, so I don't think you'll need any dummy load ... but I'm not certain ...

Depends on your overall rig really, but I use a GCX to switch between 2 to 4 preamps into one poweramp/cab

It depends on how crazy you want to go. In other words, if you are only going to use 2 preamps, you can get away with a lehle d-loop pedal. The lehle is a programable buffered a/b/ switch that will allow you to switch between the 2 or use them together. If you wanted to use more then 2 preamps then the GCX or axess electronics stuff would be the way to go.

I think its awesome and I would not have known that HBE made a switcher had you not mentioned it!!

That said, from what I can see ,I think both Gutierrez and HBE put out great products!

I just looked at the HBE...it doesn't apear to work stereo (both preamps are stereo)....am I missing something?
