I think it sounds killer!! really tough sounding amp with some great grind to it!! Gower does really good work. Everything I have ever heard that he has done sounded good. I cant say that about a lot of amp builders/modders.

Dan's work is unbelievable!! I looked at getting this mod but went with the Killer Kali++ for more versatility with all of the bells and whistles, but I should of went with the Rockmonster since I spend most of my time on the 4th gain stage mode!! Both amps slay!!!

The Rockmonster is a 5 gain stage amp that is more geared to the heavier side. This is per Dan.

The RockMonster Mod is really cool, although it's not as versatile as the Killer Kali++. It's really one main tone, which is totally gained out and aggressive haha. It was designed purely for heavy tones, so versatility wasn't really a requirement for that design.

The Killer Kali++ definitely covers a much wider range of tones in comparison, so that might be more useful for you if you're looking to get a good selection of high and low gain sounds.

Dan's one of the best dudes and modders/builders out there. Knows his sh*t thru and thru... My only gear mistake was letting my Killer Kali ++ go.. I want that amp back! Dan knows tone, players, rigs...and most importantly, he listens and communicates with his clients.... plus, he can flat out play
