Just curious. I hear some good clips on YT, but the OR15 also has my interest peaked.

Sounds great for a hard rock almost-metal amp. Certainly can do metal with a boost or hot pups.
I preferred the Rockerverb Mk II but not by a lot: just a bit more depth, complexity and more tonal options .
The Root Terror is a great amp. I preferred both to the Dark Terror.
Did not try the OR line.

I played the regular Dark Terror, Jim Root Terror and the OR15 and 100% like the OR15 best. The gain on the OR just feels a tighter and less fizzy. I'd say I prefer the regular Dark Terror to the JR also. I do like the full eq on the JR though but the single tone knob is surprisingly effective. Just gotta try em if you can. Come to think of it, for what I mostly play the only Orange amp I really like is the OR15.

I love the Root amp. One of my favorites Orange has made. Can be a bit fizzy with a Vintage 30 but an overdrive takes care of that.

That being said. the new OR100 had me falling over when I heard it at NAMM. Holy shit that amp is a monster.

Interesting info. I have been GASing for an OR15H. I am not a fan of the lunchbox look and like the looks of the OR15H in the headshell much better too.

Totally agree. An OD does take care of that fizz and tightens up the sound and Fluff's video shows that the JR Terror can sound really good recorded too. A fizzy and looser sounding amp certainly has it's place and can sound really great when in a mix.

It's not bad but I prefer the dark terror paired with a rivera Los lobottom sub 1
