What EQ Pedal to get?

Hello All

Please help me choose an EQ pedal for my board. I will not be using it for boosting or slamming the front end of my boogie. I need it for sweetening my sound. I am looking for a pedal that is not noisy, not tone sucking, not very expensive, no too big, and works well.

I play both single coils and humbuckers. I also play clean, slight breakup, crunchy, and use a nice amount of gain for some leads.

I am considering the following and anything else that may be suggested.

Try a Danelectro fish n chips...20 bucks. Tried Ge7 and mxr and the danelectro is transparent and quiet. It sweetens my mk3..

out of that list the source audio is very complete

otherwise definitely +1 on the danelectro fish n chips EQ, transparent and quiet, incredible value for money

Danelectro fish and chips is great, especially if you will leave it on all the time. Also check out the whirlwind eq, looks pretty nice. The Mesa would be a good one to check out as well.

If you want quiet definitely do NOT get the MXR 6 band...I have it and it sits in the box, I use the GE7 and it works great...haven't tried the others...

You forgot the MXR 10 band. It's 18 volt though. Some don't like having to deal with another voltage in their pedalboard. The extra headroom of 18 volts is said to make it quieter though.

That's the one I had, for me it was noisy. YMMV....
