what ever happened to the Ronnie Montrose, law suit, against Gary Moore for the 1958 les paul, any updates?

It was a bullshit lawsuit and he could probably never get him served to show up for court to begin with.

I bet it gets thrown out or Ronnie runs out of money.

Yes I would like to know a update as well but civil cases like these can take years, that is why I say he runs out of money or the judge throws it out.

What made it a bullshit case? From everything I read it seemed tilted pretty heavily in Ronnie's favor.

First of all its a civil case not a criminal case, second thing is they have to prove he bought the 59 burst knowing it was stolen. Even after all that he wants damages for its current value and all he would be entitled to is what it was worth at the time of loss according to Cali law.

Then you have to serve court papers to someone in the UK and get them to show up in court in the USA. Good luck with that.

Only people getting rich are the lawyers in this case.
