he was playing with Sebastian Bach up until 2012, then kind of went off of the radar. this video was pretty cool, this is from so long ago.

I saw an episode of That Metal Show where Sebastian talked about how the guy just didn't show up at a show one night or something and never came back. He just sort of freaked out.

I totally forgot about that guy. He definately had some mad chops.

I see him all the time. He plays in an original band called Wyves and a Led Zeppelin tribute. My bands have gigged with his LZ tribute a few times. He's the best player in town and a total natural. I think he's the guy the rest of us old farts in Phoenix are rooting for to break out and become a star.

dude, he already broke out, then faded away. he was getting a lot of attention. I think there was even a documentary made about him. He was a guitar prodigy at ten years old.

I never asked him what happened with Sebastian. Last I heard he had been kicked off the tour bus at the Canadian border because of a DUI he hadn't disclosed. Canada can be tough on that stuff. That got him bounced from the band or tour. I also heard Sebastian effed him on some business stuff. Who knows? For now he's playing clubs and bars in Phoenix. His LZ tribute was doing pretty well, but was probably a little overexposed. They recently bounced their singer and reformed. I think their first gig is in a few weeks. I haven't caught his original band, but I need to go do that. They have some videos on YT and FB. He's the nicest guy in the world.

He is a great player for sure. Another dude with huge hands and great vibrato. I swear the hands play a huge part where vibrato goes .. def an advantage. Anyway maybe some people aren't cut out for touring. Obviously a DUI doesn't help and I seem to remember something about that too. Anyway always struck me how odd he looked. He looks like a 14 year old girl and that was in his first video with Bach!

He was on the old Rig-Talk forum as "Rocket Kid " or something like that. Eric

I watched a video with Bach recently and he said one guitar player wouldn't sign a contract to play a tv gig (which everyone including Bach had to sign) so he found someone new. Not sure if this is the guy he was talking about.

Ps how old is he? Looks like he's around 12 in the op vid

If you can play great at 10 years old you will get attention. At 20....you're just another good guitar player among a sea of other good/great guitar players.

And sounds like he was either homesick or quickly got tired of typical BS music biz nonsense?

Pretty much.. like you said, nothing distinguishes any of these guys from each other anymore. They all can play their balls off, but can they write a great tune?

Well, his original band has some videos out and you don't have to be in Phoenix to view them. I just don't know what it takes anymore for a good band to break out of its home town. Everyone around here knows him, so it's not like he's a total unknown. Phoenix isn't exactly a hotbed of up and coming bands. He really does play better than anyone else in town, though. And I think his original band regularly packs whichever venues they play. I follow them on FB and they often announce that this or that venue is sold out. I hope he makes it. It'd be nice to see a great player get the break he deserves.
