What exactly is the voicing switch on the Tweaker changing?

Is it the midrange? Say for example when I switch from the USA to Brit voicing, I notice quite a change in the midrange (a more pronounced lower-midrange on the Brit mode) and I think a slight rolling off of the highs. Conversely, the USA voicing feels more scooped and the highs a hair more pronounced. Is the high end roll-off in Brit due to the relationship of the mids or is the whole EQ changing slightly?

Reason I ask is because I've been playing with the voicing switch whilst having the Suhr Riot out front and to my ears, the Brit mode offers more of a Bogner voicing with the fat lower-midrange where as in the US voicing, the Riot feels more scooped. Maybe that's me though...

my guess is (no schematic) it's changing the values of the tone stack - slope resistor, treble cap, tone caps? just a guess.

The short and sweet answer is that it's changing components in the tone stack to mimic the different sounds. Basically what you are hearing is a boost in the upper mid range with the USA setting, a scooped out setting on the AC, and a strong lower mid range on the BRIT setting. I hope that kind of explained it a little bit.

Sorry for the 8 month bump...

Any insight on what frequencies are being bumped here? Just curious so I could mould my clean a little with an EQ if I'm setting the amp's EQ for my dirt pedals.
