What expression pedal do you guys use for your setups?

Im using a Rocktron Hex which can also be used as a Volume pedal. This is going to sound a little gay but I went with the Rocktron because its the same shell as a Dunlop and I use it with the pedals from my dunlop rack wah and wanted to kjeep everything the same shape for visual purposes. It happens to work perfectly BTW as well as looking cool...

The EB's kept falling apart on me so I've switched to the Boss FV500's....so far so good.

I also have the Boss FV500L pedal, wondering if anyone here with the Boss pedal had any calibration trouble with this pedal, when I calibrate it with my midi pedalboard, it goes from a low value(heel position) setting of 64, to a high position setting of 124, so its not getting a full sweep. I even tried to move the knob on the side of the pedal, with bad results, so the furthest left position on the side pot gets me the 64-124 sweep. My cable are TRS at Boss expression pedal, and TRS at XPDL expression pedal jack. I was wondering if I needed TRS at one end and TS at the other? Any suggestions?

Not necessarily. Typically as an expression pedal, you are dealing with a Low impedance, as opposed to a High impedance like your guitar to a volume pedal (assuming passive pickups)-- which is why the Boss has the L and H pedal versions.

Use the output jack--not the expression jack.

Oh, not sure what Impedance mine is, but I'm assuming its high since its for passive pickups.. I guess I'll try out the Boss pedal, that one doesn't use a string for rocking it back and forth like that EBMM ones right?
