Rear panel says "Marshall Master model 50W Mk2 Lead". I get a little confused with all the models of the older Marshalls. This amp has one channel, 2 inputs and gain and master volume controls along with bass, mid, treble and presence.
Is this a JMP type amp or somehting different? desirable or no? Estimated value? What can I expect this to sound like and how much gain do these typically have? Thanks for the help

Yea, it's 2204 JMP 50w. They seem to be going for about $900-$1200 right now depending on the condition. It's a great classic rock amp but can sound pretty heavy if you push the front end with a pedal.

Basically same as the Jcm 800's bearing same model number, mostly cosmetic differences.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought but I hadn't seen this older looking version. I am going to play it today and see how she sounds, not sure if its modded or not (hope not). I think I could pick it up for about $1000 and its in really nice shape, only mod I can see at this point is the ohm selector has been changed out for a rotory one.
