What is the general consensus of the Bogner Alchemist?

I mean, I know it's no XTC but it's also a quarter of the price.

Best massed produced amp out there. Bogner and Line 6 got it right. Beat quite few booteek amps I've had.

I thought he head and cab sounded better than the combo.
 
Hypothetically, I'd be running it through a Cornford OS1x12 which sounds great. I'm curious.
 
Well made, sounds great, versatile, horrible resale value
 
Pretty cool amp except for that damn parrallel loop.....was a deal breaker for me otherwise I'd own one now.
 
Not to be a fanboy, but if Jerry Cantrell is using them on tour with the Uber currently they must be pretty good. He could easily use a Shiva or anything else for that matter.

I also liked the head/cab I played better than the combos.

I like it the loop is the down fall but sounds great..
I like my vl-1002 better but hey..you know..
Im gonna get an egnater renegade too
 
didn't really care for the combo I tried out, it was aight. Does the footswitch have tap tempo? I was under the impression it didn't which would be a major design flaw imo
 
they sound good...theres some decent tones in there. but i could spend a lot less and get decent tones.
