dude, i posted a question about this very item last night, and basically got ripped into about how i was going to die working on my amps cause i wasn't an engineer...or, well, it could be taken that way.

Yup, I haven't heard of anyone ever getting killed working on an amp, I guess it's happened at some point though. I've done minor mods on some amps and it really isn't that hard when your told what to do like, cut this wire, attached this resistor, etc. Just let the amp sit overnight so the caps drain.
A minor mod is a different story than a big overhaul though and I would pay for someone to do something that's involved. Take FOrtin for example, his Cali mod had a lot going on and I glady paid for his work, and his work was top notch and he was great to deal with. I'm really happy for him with his Randall deal.
