What makes a good Flying V ?

I have had this Gibson Gothic V for several years. I always go back and forth about selling it because I don't play it much, but it is my favorite Gibson V. It has an ebony fretboard and a matte black finish that isn't glossy, so it is much more resonant than a guitar with a thick finish.

I would hunt for one of these if you want Ebony, and the smaller pickguard style....

How it slices through the air on stage as your rip it up with all its aerodynamic goodness!

Personally Ive always loved 2 V's, the korina Gibson V & the Jackson with assymetrical points & sharkfin inlays.
