Been having some major issues. Long story short I'm not sure what toggle will fit my guitar.

I need a 3 way toggle. on-on-on, 3 pin and all black that will fit a 2011 ESP Horizon.

The replacement is $50 and a 6 pin which is too much for me to mess with.

I am looking for a cheap replacement 3 pin but not having much luck. I bought one on ebay and it does not fit.

I need something with a small frame. The measurements of the actual threaded post on my toggle is 7/16" wide and 1/2" tall.

I am unsure if this is a metric toggle, a LP toggle or what. ESP was no help at all.

Does anyone know what would fit?

The ones I get for my Eclipses are the Shorty Toggle Switches in whatever color I'm looking for.

Thanks,

looks a few mm off but maybe it will still work. Should be much better than the one I bought either way.

For anyone else looking. If you want the actual replacement, this is pricey but all that I could find.

and here was my exact switch https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/chu ... tem/46892/

Thank you very much.
I'm blacking out the hardware of my blue 1990 Horizon (Originally chrome) and this was the one part that I couldn't find and which got my OCD out of control. It's gonna be pricey, but worth it for my mental health's sake

Yep, It sucks about the price and it pisses me off that ESP is no help at all for replacement parts.

I ended up getting a cheap $5 switch from Reverb. Going to install it soon. It fits that cavity but it goes side to side instead of up and down. Quite a pain in the ass TBH but I dont use the neck pickup much anyway so I will deal with it for now, the color is very cheap looking. Definitely not a black nickel but I was not ready to spend $50.

If you have the money and if you have OCD I would definitely recommend getting the original replacement instead of dealing with cheap switches that will barely get the job done.

FWIW, my experience with the original ESP switches is that they aren't very reliable. I've had very good luck with the switches I posted above.

Looking at the picture, does the switch move to the left and right along with the tabs? Or does it move up and down away from the tabs?

It moves in the direction of the tabs. But since it's compact, you can orient the switch any direction you want and it will fit into the cavity (of an Eclipse, anyway).

Thanks man I should have went this route.

I figured if I am not spending $50 for the OEM I might as well go cheap. Got a $5 switch on Reverb and well....I am sure you can guess what happened.

Such a pain in the ass this has been   Went through two cheap toggles. (The first was way too small) I should have just spend the damn $50 to begin with.

I may down the road but RN I have too much going on and just need the guitar working.
