Not sure.... Torn between the good old tu2 , planet waves ... don't really want to go strobe... What do you guys rock ? True bypass would be nice... don't really need or want a buffer :D

I've been rockin the Strobostomp for two years now, and can't imagine a better tuner.

Nick, you gotta go for the picthblack man.
I guess i'm not the only one who thinks so!

i had the TU-2 for 2 years, and i sold it for the pitchblack, and the pitchblack is a lot more precise man.
cheaper too. ;) :rock:

Turbo Tuner by Sonic Research. Compared the reviews of the turbo tuner and the pitch black. Went w/ the turbo tuner. Small size, built like a tank, true bypass and its a strob tuner.

that thing looks great...looks nice and sturdy...

Pitchblack = awesome.

Super easy to read and use on stage. Tracks incredibly well. The true bypass system uses a nice relay system, which means you don't have to worry with those fluky 3PdT switches going bad.

Great, great tuner pedal.

what ever is made in usa..dont buy Asian

Uh... OK. If you think "Made in USA" means every single connector, metal wire, capacitor and whatnot... :bash: I guess you have a "made-in-USA" computer too? What did you post this insightful post from? A Mac, perhaps? Surely they are made in the USA? :D I'm just saying... If you want something made in the USA, you get to choose between like what... a hamburger and a SUV? But the SUV will most likely be filled with Arab oil... It's a global world, I don't think you're going to find a lot of products that are completely constructed with source materials and components from one country and assembled in that particular country.

As for the tuners... If I were buy a new tuner right now: Turbo Tuner is "made in USA" :poke: ... and rather fast (but it's strobe); and that Korg tuner everybody talks about looks like a good choice too, because it's so easy to read.

I heard the Pitchblack pops pretty good when you engage it. That's the only thing that's stopped me from getting one. My TU2 is dead silent.

I use my pitchblack with a Peavey XXX head all the time. Whether on channel 1 2 or 3, little volume or wide open, there is no pop. Only time I have had anything weird with it is when the battery goes out. I have had mine for over 6 months now, beat the crap out of it and only had one battery change. You can't beat the tracking on the thing. And it couldn't be any easier to read in any lighting.

Freaking rocks, buy it!!

I would say this is partially true. It's not a huge pop by any means, but it does pop a little bit. I've tried it with a fresh battery and a power supply, and both times it was still popping. I'm not sure if there is some way to fix this :confused: ?

Anyways, it's still a great tuner, and I'm certainly not looking to replace it.
