I WANT TO GET A 1960BX WITH THE 25 WATT GREENBACKS, CAN I RUN A 100 WATT HEAD SAFELY? OR IF NOT WHAT WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE IN WATT'S. ALSO WHAT WOULD BE THE MAX YOU SHOULD RUN ON THE VOLUME? THANKS

GET THE 100 WATT 25 WATT GREENBACKS THAT CAN HANDLE 100 WATTS

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 25 WATTERS AND THE 30 WATTERS SOUND WISE?

I have an older Marshall greenback loaded cab.
Hit it with my 100watt Plexi wide open...no worrys.
Ask Greazygeo about hitting a greenback cab with 100 watt amps.
His tone is stellar with his RR Marshall,Wizard Modern Classic,etc.etc.

Well, let me ask you this:

Why would you rather type in all caps? Is there a reason you're doing it?

why are you wasting your time with this??? its pretty lame!!! Sorry for annoying you!!!

In the context of print, all caps means you are EMPHASIZING something. So, unless you are, it throws the reader off. Just saying.

Aren't Scumbacks based off of Greenbacks? He has several wattages available.

Dude, just get the standard Greenies. Doubt you'd run wide open for long periods. And so what if you blow one?? Just buy a new one, replace and rock!! They sound great.

Although I have the scumback's in the 65 watt versions and they are fabulous. But they are pricey.

Standard 25 watt Greenbacks. A 100 watt head is what that cab was made for.

I agree with all, especially after hanging out with George Metropouls :D Hell,he had a 4 12 loaded with 20 watters and it sounded UNGODLY!!!!!!!!!    The 25s sounded great also FTW!!!!!!
