If you looked out your window and saw a bunch of protestors about to deface your property? I'm not talking about pissing on your lawn. Say you look out and there is some ass hat about to paint on your car or house and he/she isn't alone, say there are 5,10.20 who knows.
In this situation, you can't just whip ass cause you are grossly out numbered. If you use lethal force you will spend your life in prison. If you do nothing then they may feel entitled and take it to the next level and burn your house down or start busting your windows.

Well laugh if you want but my answer is "less than lethal ammo" I got 15 rounds of shotgun shells filled with rubber balls. I know I'll go to jail for it but I'll gt out and the poor pitiful protesters will have a memory they won't forget .

BTW i live in the suburbs so the likely hood of this happening is really small but you never know

Isn't that what you're supposed to do anyway? Or shoot whatever weapon they have out of their hand? I mean, they do it on TV so it MUST be possible.

In all seriousness, my house is 119 years old so if a group of these animals were attempting to chuck Molotov cocktails at it and I didn't have time to vacate I would absolutely consider that a lethal threat and respond accordingly.

snow or ice melt. cut the shell and empty the steel shot. insert the rock salt and seal with tape or wax. your better of killing a person for legal liability reasons. i only use salt on black bears getting in my trash.

Yikes Stoivo! Does the salt make the bears mad or scared? I've a feeling it could go either way depending upon the individual bear.

For the record, when I brought this subject up I was talking about air rifles - just load and go, no futzing about with shells. It was just enough to sting and annoy someone or something.

Technically they're the same thing, and yet they're different:

Coarse is simply intentionally-dried, unrefined sea salt; it ain't ground yet after drying.
Rock salt is already-dried and concentrated by nature over time, and can be coarse or fine (ground).

I said techincally the same 'cause both salt complexes come from rocks ultimately.
