what do you want to spend? cause there is a lot out there. matchless, Vox's, Top Hat.

I personally love the top hat's but look into Fargen and Matchless and if you're on a budget the Vox AC15 is a great little crunch amp

Almost forgot about Bad Cat and Budda! make sure to check those out also

im trying to help a student of mine. im thinking as cheap as possible. hes thinking orange tiny terror, but i dont know it.anything in that price range that's not metalish. the lower the price the better.

DR Z 18 watt.

I love the irony of the low gain crunch and the acoustic when your pic has an LTD sevenstring. :D Metal as f--k. :)

This little bastard sounds pretty good! I was over at the factory and they have loads of them stacked up.

Ah. so. Cheap. the TT is a good amp. a little dark and muddy though. but a Blackheart might be a great amp for him. they pretty much do AC/DC in a box great little amps.

For my 900? I'll PM you give me a minute

Cheap? Light crunch? Fender SuperChamp XD is solid. So is a silver face champ, but probably twice as spendy. Vox AC4tv. Gibson GA5. Lots of good options in this market.

Yup, particularily the Superchamp and the AC4TV.

Definitely the AC4TV, one of the best amp purchases I've made. It's inexpensive enough, but sounds awesome cranked and the clean tone is really good as well. The variable wattage settings really color the eq too, so the 1/4 watt setting is much darker than the 4 watt setting. Aweomse little amp that I can't speak enough about.
