What's the best neck humbucker for cleaning up dirty amp?

I have a single channel cali mod and need something really clean for the neck in my LP custom. I thought of coil tapping but do not want volume drop.

Here are some of the ones I'm considering.

I was considering an EJ custom for my LP neck too. The specs look like it would work out great for a clean and bright neck pup.

A Fralin Unbucker coil splits without much of a volume drop; it does, however, take some of the width or "shoulders" off the sound of a humbucker. I've heard the DiMarzio Bluesbucker is darn good, and split sounds like a true single coil, but I don't have firsthand information on that. Another to consider is the SD P-Rails; the parallel mode and P-90-only mode both have similar volumes, and then you can crank it up and go series to really blow the doors off.

Instead of coil splitting, try adding a push pull pot for series/parallel. Parallel won't give you as much volume drop as coil splitting and will really clean up the sound.

Yeah I've heard go with higher output if you split to avoid volume drop, or don't split and pick a SUPER clean(low output) pup
