What's the consensus on new production tubes?

I'm needing to get a quartet of EL34's for my Matamp GT120 clone when I'm finished building it. I haven't had to buy new production power tubes in a while and am not sure where things stand in terms of quality and reliability. JJ's seem to have mixed opinions. Haven't heard much about Electro Harmonix, though Nick @ SonicTone Amps said he's had better experiences in not getting duds vs JJ's. What about Psvane; where do they stand?

Assuming quality/reliability is good, I am also thinking about giving JJ EL34 II a try with this amp as the description sounds kinda fitting for what I'd want out of it. I've only used the regular JJ's. So, what the consensus on on the II's?

What about the JJE34L, or the Tung-Sol EL34B? I know both and i like them.

In the most recent Malcontents episode Steve said that a TAD would definitely pop if driven hard, he wouldn't be surprised if a JJ did too, and that he would be surprised if a Mullard did. Timestamped link to the start of the question:

I recently shot out several sets in my Morris UK78’. My order of preference below (top being the best)

JJ EL34II
EHX EL34
Ruby EL34BSTR
Tung Sol EL34B
